Emily Rose Heard
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their emotions, thoughts, and patterns of behavior. My approach combines various therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness, somatic therapy, and psychedelic integration.
My background in Integral Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in psychedelic therapy, allows me to bring a unique perspective to my practice. I am passionate about exploring the potential benefits of psychedelics in therapeutic settings and assisting individuals in integrating these experiences into their personal growth and healing journeys.
My training in EMDR allows me to work as a somatic trauma specialist, helping clients heal from past traumas that may be affecting their current well-being. I have additional training in perinatal mental health and have a special interest in supporting women during the perinatal period, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
In addition to my individual therapy practice, I specialize in working with couples seeking greater meaning in their lives and relationships. I use evidence-based techniques from the Gottman method to help couples improve communication, build trust, and deepen their connection.
I consider it an honor to be able to do this work and to support individuals in their quest for spiritual wellness and personal growth. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you on your journey.
